The DC51 DVD video camera is designed for the growing movie maker. Featuring 5.39M CCD, DiG!C DV II processor, 10x optical zoom and Super Range OIS to produce superb quality movies and photos. The increased functionality, Real Widescreen recording and movie editing software will allow for hours of enjoyment, creating and sharing quality movies and slide shows with a slick professional styled finish.

DiG!C DV II processor is the next generation of signal processing technology from Canon. The digital processing ensures optimal image quality for the different needs of video and still images. This includes improved colour reproduction, especially skin tones, and dark and light scenes. It also uses a hybrid noise reduction system that uses two types of noise reduction for crystal clear images and video.
Canon's all-glass 10x zoom lens produces sharp, crystal clear results free of ghosting and smear.
