Built into the projector's lamp system, the Cinema Filter is a crucial component in achieving wider colour spaces and colour purity. This innovative technology is able to optically adjust the colour tone for incredibly accurate colour reproduction.

Light is undoubtedly the most critical element in any projector; and Epson's E-TORL (Epson Twin Optimised Reflection Lamp) technology is undoubtedly the leader in its field. Designed to eliminate light leakage and minimise light diffraction, these powerful and innovative lamps are so small and highly efficient as to be well ahead of their time.

Just plug in the EMP-TWD1's power cord and the system is ready for use! Forget about complicated cable set ups. With the EMP-TWD1, everything's now so simple that the projector even automatically detects and adjusts the DVD's aspect ratio.

Underpinning the brilliant versatility of the EMP-TWD1 is its in-built DVD player developed by JVC. The inclusion of a Digital Direct Progressive function and a unique rolling laser pickup ensures incredibly smooth 24 frames per second processing and the virtual elimination of misreading, mistracking and freezing during play. This high performance player supports a broad range of media, including audio CDs, video DVDs and image (JPEG) CDs.

At the heart of the EMP-TWD1 is Epson's world-leading 3LCD technology. This projection system uses three individual LCD panels to give form to images with silky smooth movement and fresher, more natural colours.

Insert a DVD in yourEMP-TWD1 and the projector automatically plays and projects. Then, when it's time just for some music, the unit will automatically detect the CD-Audio and start playing without projecting. It even gives you the option of displaying a slideshow of JPEG images that have been saved to CD.

Featuring an in-built dedicated sound system with two Direct Drive speakers developed by JVC, one of the world's most renowned audio manufacturers, the EMP-TWD1 delivers powerful, realistic, cinematic sound. These high performance speakers deliver rich and natural sound throughout the room, maximising the effect of the home cinema experience.

With optical keystone correction of +/- 30 degrees, the EMP-TWD1 is designed to ensure a square projected image even when positioned at an angle. Added to this is the projector's lens shift feature, which enables the projected image to be shifted vertically by +/- 50 per cent and horizontally by +/-25 per cent.
