Using the same technology as GENESSA HD displays, this function outputs a 1080 scanning line image at progressive 60fps so you can enjoy uncompromising picture quality on a TV that accepts 1080P input. With progressive, the jaggy diagonals you'd get with interlace images are smoothed out, for a clearer image.

The HD lens of this camera was developed by camera specialist, KONICA MINOLTA, to ensure optimal lens performance for use with our CMOS image sensor and AVCHD recording technology.

Every Everio can conveniently record digital still images. Just switch to the image mode and then press the snapshot button. to take your snapshot. Record your snapshot to either the HDD or a micro SD card. It's your choice. Record up to a 1920 x 1080 image.

In the XP mode, video is recorded at a high bit rate of 17.0 Mbps average. Compared to other systems using a lower bit rate, the resulting image offers higher quality with clearer visible details.

The high-performance AVCHD Codec and 7 noise reduction technologies contribute to remarkable overall picture quality with high horizontal resolution and color reproduction rivaling 3CCD cameras.

We made the Full HD camera smaller and lighter. Barely over a pound even with the battery attached. Palm sized for superior mobility.

In addition to a built-in hard disk drive, HD Everio also has a slot for microSD/SDHC Card so you can store video and stills on this commonly available memory card. (Card is not supplied.)

To record video, a microSDHC card with Class 4 or higher performance is required. microSD memory cards (256MB to 2GB) and microSDHC memory cards (4GB and 8GB) have been tested for the following brands: Panasonic, Toshiba, SanDisk, ATP. Note that using other media may result in recording failure or data loss.

HD Everio offers a wide array of assist functions to shoot HD video more precisely, conveniently, and creatively.

Focus Assist Function
Outlines in-focus image contours to show which parts are in or out of focus.

Zebra Function
Displays a striped pattern across overexposed areas of the image.

Program AE
A full array of effects is available so you can choose the right exposure or shutter speed automatically according to the scene you're shooting. Easily accessible via visual menu dial.

In addition to point-and-shoot simplicity, HD Everio also offers a wide range of manual controls including Manual White Balance, Exposure Control, Sharpness Control, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority and Brightness Control, and more.

Pressing the four "compass points" on the circular control operates everything from menu item selection to manual camera settings.

Automatically turns on the camera when you open the LCD so you can shoot right away, and turns off the camera when you close the LCD so you won't waste power.

HD images look beautiful when printed on paper, too. That’s why JVC lets you take high-resolution “snapshots” directly from your recorded HD footage, and print them just like you would from a digital still camera.

Mount an optional microphone on the accessory shoe for clear, high-quality audio recording. A convenient Mic Input Terminal with plug-in power supplies power to the mounted microphone.

Allows you to check the remaining battery power by % and remaining recording time in minutes at the touch of a button, even while the camera's power is off.

Everio includes patented and other proprietary technology and is made to be used with the JVC Data Battery and not with other batteries. This model are equipped with USB2.0 and HDMI™ digital interfaces on the camera. USB is primarily for file saving and HDMI™ is for digital viewing on large screen displays. Also equipped with all models are component and AV terminals to output down-converted signals for analog devices.
