Microphone & Headphone Jacks
The HDRSR7 includes microphone and headphone jacks, using standard 3.5mm connections. This means users can attach their existing audio components to the SR7 to enhance the already outstanding features offered!

6.1 Megapixel still capture (4.6 Megapixel still capture while recording movies)
When switched to still camera mode, the SR7 can capture high quality 6.1 Megapixel still images. The Dual Recording function makes it possible to record high-precision still images equivalent to 4.6 Megapixel even while shooting video.

Camera Control Dial (manual adjustment)
Selected manual settings can be adjusted with the Camera Control Dial by simply pressing the "Manual" button. Items that can be set include Focus (Default), Brightness, AE Shift & WB Shift.

Film Roll Index and Face Index
One press of the body-mounted Film Roll button makes it possible to preview the beginning of scenes and create scene indexes set at specified display intervals (3, 6, or 12 seconds and 1 or 5 minutes) – perfect for seeing what was recorded in a long take. The SR7 also incorporates face detection technology, allowing the user to play scenes simply by pressing the human faces detected during shooting.
